• A full stack developer is a web developer or engineer who works with both the front and back ends of a website or application. In this sense, they provide an end-to-end service, and can be involved in projects that involve databases and building user-facing websites. Their role can extend to working with clients during the planning phase of projects.

✔ Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Developing front end website architecture. Designing user interactions on web pages.  Creating servers and databases for functionality.  Ensuring cross-platform optimization for different platforms.  Ensuring responsiveness of applications.  Working alongside graphic designers for web design features. Designing and developing APIs.

• Competencies Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Amber.Proficiency with server side languages and frameworks in Python such as Django, FlaskUnderstanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architectureFamiliarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environmentsStrong unit test and debugging skillsProficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVNWell versed with AWS servicesKafka is preferable not mandatoryDocker/K8s is preferable not mandatory

✔ Education and Experience 

• BS degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in FullStack development.
