The Iowa football team's home game against Nevada is scheduled to resume at 12:45 a.m. Sunday after a third weather delay. Saturday at 6:40 o'clock the game got underway.

Last but not least, Iowa and Nevada have entered their third rain delay this evening, just as it appeared like football would return to Kinnick Stadium.

In the second weather delay, which lasted from 10:07 p.m. to just before midnight, Nevada ran one play and lined up for a long field-goal try.

The first weather delay went from 8:36 until 9:56 in the evening.

Once more, lightning was seen within eight miles of the stadium, the necessary distance to halt play.

At 8:36 p.m. CT, Played was previously halted, and an 80-minute delay followed. With 5:24 remaining in the third quarter, the Hawkeyes presently lead 17-0.

The Hawkeyes needed an offensive boost after scoring just 14 points combined in their first two games, so Saturday provided that boost.
