In exchange for Mitchell, the Cavaliers will send the Jazz guard Collin Sexton, rookie wing Ochai Agbaji, forward Lauri Markkanen, three unprotected first-round picks in the 2025, 2027, and 2029 draughts, as well as two pick swaps in the 2026 and 2028 draughts.

According to Rich Paul, CEO of Klutch Sports, Sexton has agreed to a four-year, $72 million sign-and-trade deal to join the Jazz.

The addition of Mitchell to a lineup that already has two 2022 All-Stars makes the Cavaliers an Eastern Conference contender with possible staying power as a result of the deal.
