On Sunday afternoon, Josh McDaniels' new offence in the desert continued to flourish.

In the first preseason game played at Allegiant Stadium in 2022, the Las Vegas Raiders defeated the Minnesota Vikings 26–20.

Many of the Raiders' new players played in front of a crowd for the first time on Sunday in their brand-new home stadium.

After the game, McDaniels said, "I don't recall one feeling like this. I've been around a lot of preseason games over the past 22 years."

He said the reception of our fans, the way you see Raider Nation now, is different.

The atmosphere is the finest McDaniels has ever experienced during a preseason game. It's also simple to express clearly.

McDaniels is eager to play again here and then in the regular season, when he will have the chance to practise in actual games.

The team's offence totaled 300 yards, while they outpossessed the Vikings in time of possession by eight minutes.
