Serena Williams Maintains Focus After the Cheers
During Williams' first-round U.S. Open match, a star-studded crowd inside Arthur Ashe Stadium was joined by thousands of spectators outside.
An announcer referred to her as "the greatest of all time," and a record-breaking crowd of 29,402 applauded.
Despite the deafening clamour, Williams maintained her focus as she walked purposefully to her seat and began prepping for the show that was about to begin.

"The audience was insane," Williams remarked afterward during an on-court ceremony to honour her. "It definitely helped me get through it."
"I believe the reception was extremely overwhelming as I walked out," Williams remarked. "I could feel it in my chest because it was so loud." It was a fantastic feeling.
