'Mad Max' star Vincent Gil has died aged 83
The actor, well known for his role as Crawford Montizano, also known as Nightrider, in the 1979 movie
Paul Johnstone, who co-starred with him in "Mad Max," revealed the terrible news that he had passed away after a battle with health.
Vincent, an Australian-born actor, rose to recognition playing Nightrider in "Mad Max" before making an appearance in the 1974 biker film Stone.
He had a long career in television as well, featuring in Australian series like "Neighbours," "A Country Practice," and "Prisoner."
Additionally, he appeared in the films "Evil Angels" (1988) with Meryl Streep
and Sam Neill and 2001''s 'The Bank' with Anthony LaPaglia
