The venerable country music icon published a brief video on social media describing the concept behind the new business as she made the announcement.
People are crazy about the brand name "Doggy Parton," which was created by legendary country singer Dolly Parton for a new range of dog accessories.
The assortment of dog accessories and clothing includes a pink cowgirl hat with a tiara, a collar and lead set in a Western gingham pattern, and even a blonde bombshell wig so your dog may resemble the Tennessee singer herself.
In addition, there are a number of soft toys, including a microphone, a stiletto, a rainbow, and a cup that reads, "I Beg Your [Parton]".
A portion of the collection's earnings will help Tennessee-based Willa B Farms, a non-profit organisation dedicated to animal rescue.
